Chris is a professional ecologist, specialising in entomology, and has worked in UK invertebrate conservation for the past fifteen years. In this time, he has carried out surveys and research for many major conservation bodies, taught courses on invertebrate identification and been involved in numerous public engagement events.

He is a passionate all-round naturalist with a wide knowledge of many groups of wildlife, including invertebrates, birds, reptiles and amphibians, mammals and plants.

Chris is an experienced traveller, having visited over sixty countries and all seven continents in the pursuit of wildlife. In his spare time, he is also a keen photographer.

Chris joined the team in 2020 and has led Wildlife Travel holidays to Cyprus, Morocco and the Fen Edge.
