
Laurie is an ecologist and natural history trainer based in southern England. She has enjoyed a varied career in conservation encompassing ecological surveys, land management advice, conservation policy and environmental education, and has worked for the Wildlife Trusts in Sussex, Bedfordshire and Devon.
Laurie joined the team in 2013 and is now a Director of Wildlife Travel. She has led holidays to many of our destinations including Chile, France, Morocco, Bulgaria and Australia, where she has enjoyed introducing our travellers to new wildlife, places and culture.
When at home, she undertakes ecological surveys and is a tutor on a range of courses from small mammals to pollinator conservation. Laurie loves being outdoors and is always keen to get involved with ecological research. So far this has included work on butterflies in Transylvania, birds in South Africa and conservation projects in Chile.
