2019 saw us start the year in our ‘home away from home’ in Morocco before another breathtaking visit to the Galapagos. We enjoyed our first orchid-filled visit to Italy’s Gargano and a long-overdue return to Lake Kerkini and North Macedonia. Our travels in the Balkans took us to Transylvania and Bulgaria’s beautiful butterfly-rich southwest. Closer to home, we came face to face with some of Devon’s exciting mammals, before our exploration of Northern Chile and the Atacama Desert. We were also busy recceing new destinations, including the Cevennes and the Dordogne in France, Armenia, Peru and Colombia (keep an eye on our Holiday Calendar for those), before finishing the year back where it began, on a festively, un-festive visit to Morocco.
